Viola, chamber music for Strings

His musical career as an orchestral musician, chamber music specialist and instrument teacher extends into different fields of experience both in the field of classical and popular music. He has played with many of England's leading orchestras, including the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the City of Birmingam Symphony Orchestra, Opera North, and the BBC Big Band. Abroad he played in Spain, France and Italy in the Adriatic Academy. As a violin and viola teacher, Tony promotes a consulting agency that empowers musicians to eliminate pain and trauma while playing. He bases his teaching on the knowledge of anatomical mechanics and human movement. Tony conducts the Liverpool Symphony Orchestra which regularly holds concerts, both inside and outside the University. Its goal is to expand and deepen the performance skills of its students through a varied musical performance program in its courses. Tony teaches performance studies for classical and popular music students. He has worked with high profile popular musicians such as Johnny Dankworth, George Shearing, Johnny Mathis, Elaine Page, Howard Keele, Tony Bennett and Shirley Bassey.

As an experienced and musical mentor in the UK and overseas, Tony believes that the act of learning and playing reaffirms the little-celebrated Art of Living, applying it through musical groups, in purely human collaborative contexts, and equality in teamwork. . The innovative performance structure of its courses for students and for those who have already completed their studies, are offered by the University of Liverpool, to emphasize the vital interaction between performance, analysis, harmony and history of music.
